A new life, Choir
Tuesday, July 28, 2009@5:30 PM

Hey yo everyone, Celina from Alto 1 here!!! XDXD

Although i m only about 7 months old in choir, dun sing really well, but i do noe a thing bot music! hahahs and i am really excited that i can actually blog here too! XDXD Today, I have something that has always been on my mind, and this person writing here gg drown u with ALOT of stuff. Please.. Please... read till the end... okay? ==

Firstly, i should forewarn anyone hu dun wan to do badly for their English, that i not gg write in FULL PROPER english... hmm... not cos i have something against my eng teacher Mr Bakthair okay..=.= but.... i really have alot on mind... so.. spare me the torture...kay? hahas =)

okay. crap cut. So, here it goes.

Maybe u wld realise by now, we do not have many chances to perform both "outside sch" and in school. @_@

As a performer, we really really.... have to cherish every moment on the stage. Anywhere can be our stage.lols(just being random..) =)

Anw Experience is very very impt. =)It is wad makes a perfect singer. Expertise in Singing is NEVER enough. hmm...We have to understand music inside out. Someone who is really perfect does not only sing well, but can interpret the music by herself. XDXD I personally believe that life is not measured by the moments of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breaths away. Yes this is Life.=) So, Princesses lets all take our audiences' breath away with our music. =) =)

Our sincere, pure, deep music.

To fully feel how the songwriter felt at that moment is not easy.
To fully involve urself in the meaning or "story" behind the song is challenging.
To be Music's friend? hmm... acheivable. =)

So, to gain experience, We, the choir, by hook or by crook or by both, have to hold as many performances as possible, both in sch and in public. =) hmm.. so the prob now is..

HOW? HOW? HOW? @_@

hahas, dun worry, this person blabbering here have lots of interesting plans! =) =)
i FULLY understand regarding the "time" part. Some of u may have a really tight schedule, but if we actually plan everything in SUPERHUMAN speed, WHICH IS SUPER POSSIBLE, nothing is IMPOSSIBLE! <--- (i always cross out this word from every dictionary i see. ahhahs)We start planning now bit by bit, in HUMAN speed. When EOY ends(Oct), We will have alot of bunches of time then we can be transformers and transform into SUPERHUMAN SPEED. Everything is negioable (or however u spell it), okay? XDXD =) =) Okay OKAY so now Problem 1= Time. ------SETTLED------ @_@

Next is the financial part. hmm.. made me wanna sing. "money money, ooh hoo woo.. money money"
Can't recognise this song?
hahhas cos this song is Celina's homemade and not sold on shelves. heehee. this is l.a.m.e. i noe.

BACK TO SERIOUS BIG BeZyNESS, Girls! ==~

For the money part, we can actually start out on cheaper performance places and earn some money 1st. Cheaper does not mean any places with BAD acoustic or not suitable for singing. We still try every means to get a proper performing place. =)))))

As i say, nothing is IMPOSSIBLE. @_@

Don't feel shy. @-@

U r a performer.

U r the PRINCESS, LADY, SHINING SPARKLING STAR or wadeva how eva whom eva, on stage.
YOU control the stage and
YOU control YOU.

Dun worry we can all research about the venues on the net. NO PROB. Although we can write proposal to convince the sch to sponsor us abit, but the sch wouldn't really sponsor us alot.

So, we should slowly prove ourselves through the performances and maybe... more help could be given! Don't worry, my experiences in my previous CCA would certainly help alot with this part. =)

Next prob is something that i dunnoe whether its possible.

But as i say, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. Okay. What i was trying to say is, if we were to hold performances, there have to be some "High-value" in our performances to attract the public to pay for our tickets.
There are actually alot that we can do. As we are living in a multi racial society, all languages are impt. Of course. Music is the universal lang that each and everyone of us understands, however, in order to connect with our audiences, we have to learn their music too. =)=)=)

Thats why, PRINCESSES,i have been racking my brains on how i gg bring this up to our "Qween", Ms Goh! hahahs no offense intended, just being random.

okay. SO as wad Celina (me!) have been saying, we could learn other languages of songs too. like Malay.. Tamil.. Korean... Jap.... French... or wadeva, then we can have a concert called "Sensational Singapore" or wadeva as i said everything is "Negioable". #_# This definitely reflect alot on Singapore's multi racial society, and will also interest alot of music lovers from both locals and foreigners in Singapore. XDXD

At this point please don't think i am telling u about my dream. I am letting ur see the choir's sparkling future. Its all possible. trust me.XDXD

We gotta be different from any other choirs in Singapore.
We are blessed with a very very nice Qween who doesn't throw chairs at us if we do not sing well.
We are blessed with a devoted heart to music.
We are blessed with supportive teachers. :)

All the help, support and love are there for us.
All we gotta do is enjoy our music, perfect our music and love our music. As long as u all love to have performances, nothing is IMPOSSIBLE! heehee. XDXD

Do comment in the tagbox about my little humble idea. XDXDXD
Although i have alot alot more to say, but maybe i shld hear out all ur views by then, i can further proceed with all these plans. =)

So now, after such a long long long longggggggggggg........ meeting bezyness, maybe we could relax just a little. =)

lets look at some views of music by some interesting ppl XDXD

hahhahs this is a quote by Friedrich Nietzsche that i really really love! (So much that i even specially designed and ordered a shirt with the words printed on it.hahhas)
*_*Friedrich Nietzsche:
Without music, life would be a mistake. @_@

"If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music .... I get most joy in life out of music." -Albert Einstein

"After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." -Aldous Huxley

"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything." -Plato

"Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosphy. Music is the electrical soil in which the spirit lives, thinks and invents." -Ludwig v. Beethoven

"Men profess to be lovers of music, but for the most part they give no evidence in their opinions and lives that they have heard it." -Henry D. Thoreau
